Studio Policies

Please come to your weekly scheduled lesson time. Since our time is limited, students that arrive late to lessons will still be charged the full amount and the lesson time will not be extended.
If your child is sick and has missed school, please do not send them to lessons.
If you find there is a conflict in your schedule, and you are unable to attend lessons, a refund will not be issued.
There may be a an occasion where I may need to reschedule lessons due to an unforeseen event or illness. If this is deemed necessary, your lesson time will be made-up. If I am unable to make up your lesson, you will be credited for next month.

Weekly Attendance

Tuition Payments

Tuition reserves your weekly time slot and studio membership.

All lessons should be paid at the first lesson of each month.

Payment issues must be resolved within 3 days of the missed payment; otherwise a $20 late fee applies. After the 2nd week of missed payment, lessons will be suspended until all fees are paid.

Payments can be made with Pay pal, cash, or personal check. A receipt will be given for your records.

Weekly Practice

The only way to improve at any musical instrument is to consistently practice!

We recommend:

Ages 4-5 should practice about 5-10 minutes 3 days per week

Ages 6-9 should practice about 15-20 minutes 5 days per week
Ages 10+ should practice about 20-30 minutes 5 day per week

Leave of Absence/Withdrawing from Lessons

We'll be so sorry to see you go, but if you must miss more than 3 lessons a month we ask that you either:

Reserve your lesson time by continuing to pay 50% of your monthly balance.
Discontinue lessons, but re-roll upon your return. If you choose this option, we cannot guarantee your spot will be available upon return.

For planning purposes, I ask for 2 weeks written notice prior to ending lessons.

If a student withdraws without 2 week written notice, a refund will not be issued.

Referral Program

For current students: Do you have a friend or relative who you think would love to learn music with us? For every person you refer and commits to a month or more of lessons, we will give you both 2 weeks FREE!
